Announcements

  • With Governor Phil Scott's announcement on Friday November 13th, we have paused some of our programs in order to help tighten the spigot in the battle against the pandemic. The following are temporarily paused Open Hoop, Pickleball, Futsal, Basketball, and all other recreational programming.

    With the announcement Governor Scott has allowed fitness centers to remain open as it.  The State has had very few cases linked to fitness facilities and believe previously mandated protocol has proven sufficient.  The only change is that masks are required at all times in the fitness gym, even while using the cardio equipment. Please reserve time for your workout online ahead of time by following this link https://www.thecambridgecc.com/info/facilities/default.aspx

    All returning college students must quarantine before using the facility.  The same is true for all who have recently traveled out of state.  Everyone must check in at the front desk.
  • Dear Members,

    Thank you for your continued support through this difficult time.

    As a reminder, if you had a membership with time left when we closed on March 18th 2020 and have not returned to work out then you still have that time remaining.  All memberships were paused when we closed.  If you are unsure if you have time left or how much, please reach out to us.

    Below are our current policies. We thank you in advance for abiding by them.

    1. Hours will be 6am - 9pm and members must enter through the member access door off the back patio. (Remember there is no parking allowed in the 158 Main lot.  Please email for new entry door code). Exit from the fitness center will be the door at the end of the bathroom hallway.
    2. Maximum of 6 people allowed in the center at once. (Employees are included in this count.)
    3. Masks are required
    4. All employees and members are expected to complete temperature checks and leave if greater than 100 degrees.
    5. All members must clean equipment before and after every use. Towels are to be used only to wipe equipment.  Towels for wiping sweat off a person must be brought in and taken home with the member.
    6. Members are not allowed in the building if they exhibit any signs of respiratory illness, and/or have a fever above 100 F degrees.
    7. We request that members reserve their workout time in advance. This can be done one of 3 ways: 1) by signing in Online at thecambridgecc.com and selecting one of the Fitness Center (1,2,3,4) slots to reserve; 2) by emailing their desired workout time to info@cambridgevtcommunitycenter.com;
    8. If you need to renew your membership we ask that you do so online or by calling the center at 802-644-5028 Monday - Friday between 10am and 2pm. At this time drop-ins will not be allowed unless registration for daily drop-in is done online.
    This is a fluid, ever-changing situation and we will consistently re-evaluate our policies and procedures to adapt to the changing times and needs.We are grateful for your patronage and we look forward to seeing you back at the center soon.
